Flintco Industrial Delivers the Largest Cement Bulk Storage Facility in the U.S.

Go inside the largest cement bulk storage facility in the U.S. at the Port of Houston built by Flintco Industrial for SESCO Cement Corporation, which supplies the raw material from its headquarters in Egypt. Flintco Industrial self-performed the following scope: All Structural Steel Equipment (more than 1,500 tons) with our own Ironworkers, Pipefitters, and Boilermakers; Conveyors, Bucket Elevators, Air Slides, Packing Equipment (2 lines), Dust Collectors, Ductwork, Pumps skids, Bins, Hoppers and Shakers. “You couple Germany, Egypt and the U.S., sometimes things get lost in translation,” said Hani Arafat, Project Engineer of SESCO, describing the mechanical equipment design and the offsite steel fabrication process. “That’s where you need all the heads in the room together to solve problems quickly and cost effectively. Flintco was constantly a leading voice in that conversation. I would absolutely recommend Flintco again.”
