Campbell Clinic Campus Expansion

The Campbell Clinic Expansion project turned a 5-acre vacant parcel of land into a new four-story, 120,000 SF medical office building and surgery center. The new building is located on the Clinic’s existing campus, adjacent to their existing 60,000 SF office building and 4-suite surgery center, which both remained fully operational throughout construction.

The first floor features a members-only performance and wellness gym, large physical therapy and treatment area, hot, cold, and treadmill hydrotherapy pools, indoor and outdoor turf areas, and some of the most high-tech gym and therapy equipment on the market. There is also a café area with assorted kitchen equipment.

The second floor is reserved for lease space, with a long term goal of further Campbell Clinic expansion. The third floor contains 30,000 SF of clinical offices, cast rooms, and eight x-ray rooms. The clinical space utilizes a new patient-friendly layout, with the patient corridors on one side of the rooms and staff work area on the other.  Doors on each side of the exam rooms allow for efficient flow for both patients and staff, with each staff corridor adjacent to 16 exam rooms.

The fourth floor contains the Clinic’s new ambulatory surgery center. The surgery center contains 12 private pre-op rooms, 2 procedure rooms, 8 fully integrated operating rooms, and 24 recovery rooms. The eight operating rooms and sterile processing area contain the most current and sophisticated equipment available.  Four of the ORs contain observation lounges where students, parents, or agents may watch through a smart glass window during operations. Where privacy is required, the staff can cloud the windows with the flip of a switch.
