Flintco Awarded Two National ABC Excellence in Construction Awards

Flintco’s Oklahoma City office was recognized by ABC for the National Excellence in Construction Award for the Norman Central Library project. This new, 78,642 SF, $26.7 million library was a community-chosen project from the “Norman Forward” initiative and includes reading nooks, study spaces, conference rooms, and a steel stair winding to third floor. Exterior features clerestory roofs with facade of a glazed curtain wall, metal panels, art installation and reading grove/gardens.

In addition, Flintco’s Tulsa office was recognized by ABC for the National Excellence in Construction Award for the Iron Gate project. Iron Gate’s 17,000 SF facility is 40 years in the making — a new home to help the nonprofit serve hungry and homeless. It includes a large central dining room for daily food service, modern commercial kitchen, large pantry/dry storage areas, and office space areas for staff.
