Flintco Recognized for National Safety Excellence Award

Flintco was named one of the nation’s safest builders by the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) on Wednesday, March 27, at the 2019 ABC National Safety Excellence Awards held in Long Beach, CA.

Recognized in the Excellence category, the award places Flintco among an elite group of construction companies recognized for exceptional Safety programs.

“We’ve had a record-breaking year for Safety at Flintco,” said Corporate Safety Director Flint Howard. “The results are in, and we proved that Incident and Injury Free work is possible through our Flintco 4 LIFE program. We showed that the incremental gain from each injury-free day can create remarkable momentum.”

Companies are judged on self-evaluation scores, lost workday case rates, total recordable incident rates, leading indicator use, process and program innovations and video interviews conducted by members of ABC’s National Environment, Health and Safety Committee. This latest recognition means that Flintco’s Safety performance, the Flintco 4 LIFE program and our commitment to continuous improvement, especially when it comes to the well-being of everyone associated with our work, is resonating.
