The new two-story, 40,000 SF headquarters – at nearly triple the size of the department’s current facility – provides more room and security for officers, as well as new administration offices, state-of-the-art evidence vaults, and large training areas. A large public plaza and green area separate the public parking from the main building on the upper level. A large staff plaza between staff parking and the lower level entrance on the northeast side of the building connects to the double volume space of the main building common area and staff entrance.
