Norman Regional HealthPlex
The new facility features a three-story women’s and children’s tower and a five-story cardiology, orthopedics and neurosurgery tower. The elevator shaft was built to accommodate three additional floors to allow an acute care center to be added at a later date. Each area of the HealthPlex campus uses the latest technology and adds 130 beds, including 19 neonatal intensive care beds and 32 cardiovascular beds. The new facility allows for as many as 11 operating rooms and ancillary care such as cardiac catheterization, CT scan, echo cardiography, MRI, laboratory, nuclear medicine and ultrasound services.
