Texas State University St. David's School of Nursing

Designed and constructed to achieve LEED® Silver certification, this building includes instructional classrooms, lecture halls, offices, an auditorium, and high-tech audio-visual systems. Lab spaces include clinical practice, simulation, and non-wet research labs. Mechanical and electrical systems were installed along with security, a fire alarm, fire protection, and communication systems. Site improvements consist of access roadways, landscape, and irrigation. The courtyard features a labyrinth design that replicates the Chartres Cathedral labyrinth in France, which symbolizes healing.
