Fairview Elementary School
Rogers Elementary #16, subsequently named Fairview Elementary by the surrounding community, is an 89,177 SF, all new construction, elementary school. The exterior structure consists of CMU block, structural steel, and structural metal studs. The concrete tilt-up gymnasium was constructed to meet FEMA regulations and serves as a tornado shelter. It is the first elementary school built by the Rogers Public School District that includes a FEMA shelter. The exterior façade consists of brick and metal wall panels. Each of the panels is one of six different shades of green. The installed pattern gives the appearance to fade digitally from a dark green to nearly white. The interior classrooms and administration offices each have their own unique color palates. The administration offices consist of large conference rooms, mail room, front lobby, and individual facility offices. The classrooms and corridors have unique polished concrete floors with vibrant wave pattern colors. Each classroom wing is distinguished with its own color pattern. Each classroom is equipped with state of the art touch screens display boards, WIFI, and an audio system.
