Advanced green building components are the main focus of the new Green Technology Education Department site at this community college. The energy-efficient building includes foam concrete panels, absorption heaters, and solar energy collectors to help power the building’s heating and cooling systems. To show the energy savings, monitors throughout the building report energy use.
